AddUp supports its customers throughout the development phases, to help them make their industrial additive manufacturing project a success, from the feasibility study to industrialization and qualification..

      Depending on the project, AddUp:

      • Supports its customers through the transition to effective part production in their new shop
      • Produces parts for its customers

      AddUp dimensions the production equipment and provides all the necessary recommendations on controlling it in order to create parts that meet sector-specific needs (specifications, qualification, certification, ramp up, etc.).

      With 3A, AddUp can respond to specific production requests that require electron beam melting in a vacuum.

    • Phase 5:
      FINISHING, POST-PROCESSING

      AddUp can handle all of the part finishing and post-processing steps, either directly or through a trusted partner, to meet its customers’ specifications.

Depending on the project, AddUp:

  • Supports its customers through the transition to effective part production in their new shop
  • Produces parts for its customers

Technologies

Direct Metal Laser Melting

AddUp implements direct metal laser melting on an industrial scale. With this technology, low granulometry powder and a small-diameter laser can be used to make parts that combine precision, surface quality, material integrity, and internal stress levels.

Electron beam melting

With the company 3A, AddUp also has expertise in Electron Beam Melting machines, which can be used to produce parts in a vacuum at high temperatures.

Production equipment

AddUp supports all industrialization projects for additive manufacturing of parts by tailoring its production equipment to meet its customers’ needs.

AddUp relies on its technical platform in Ladoux (Clermont-Ferrand, France), which is home to all of its process parameter development and adjustment expertise.

The 1,800 sq. m. shop features:

  • 5 independent units with proprietary additive manufacturing machines,
  • A room with post-processing / finishing equipment
  • A measurement room for qualifying parts

AddUp’s machine fleet will change over the coming years, to support its customers specific execution needs.
